Profile
Animal Rescue Volunteers (ARV), is a non-profit dog rescue group based in Simi Valley, CA. Dedicated to the welfare of abandoned and abused animals. ARV does not maintain a shelter. All rescue animals are in foster homes.
We save those in most need. We have rescued pregnant mommas, as young puppies do not do well in the shelter. We rescue the ones who do not show well in the shelter. We try to help dogs locally in our community to help prevent them from ending up in the shelter. We rescue elderly dogs so they can have a home, not the shelter, to live out their life. We rescue dogs that have been hit by cars or injured and therefore need surgery. Stop by and adopt a dog. Click on the tab above “Adopt a Pet” for the current list.
